On this weekend, my soul taught me a really fascinating lesson.
He said, "Clarity, Lars, comes with great responsibility."
And for the rest of the weekend, he unpacked that for me.
You see, when you surrender and expand into the points of awareness of your soul and essence, you gain clarity. And what does that clarity mean? It means that you are expanding into points of awareness that can bring all sorts of reactions and tasks and things to do. And while that is really exciting, it can also have its other side, because we carry within us a preponderance of definitions that we don't know we have until we have clarity, until we surrender. And so it's a continuous state of surrender. That's what soul taught me.
He said, "Lars, in each expansion, you are expanding into the points of awareness that bring to you the clarity of positionalities yet to be forgiven. These are the lenses that are beyond your points of awareness, beyond your focus, beyond your experience."
Time, Positionality, and Expanding Awareness
That's really something, because as you expand your points of awareness, you get new ideas and new ways of doing things, and you're perceiving things beyond time, which means you can see the picture of what needs to happen. But then when you land back into a positionality, time is experienced through positionality. Time is defined through positionality in all of its lenses. In addition, time is experienced by the positionalities not yet known or identified or acknowledged.
Over this last year, my life has gotten busier and busier, with more and more of a greater sense of urgency from the positionality perspective to help people expand their points of awareness so they can see more clearly what type of construct they're in and the one that they are creating. And that urgency has dissipated from my perspective. However, that urgency is felt by many others around me, and that means that there's a lot to do, and everything takes time, and that time is experienced differently by all the positionalities around me. Therefore, there is a tempo and a pace to life's unfolding stories.
The Magic of Surrender: A Practical Example
What I have found is the magic of surrender. It erases my perspective on each unfolding story, even when I react. If I react, and it's a lower vibration reaction - if I feel frustrated or even angry, judgmental, or I compare or have pride - that too is very quickly erased, and then on the other side comes more and more clarity and ability, and more and more responsibility. The responsibility is the ability to respond with grace, and that is the theme of my life right now: the ability to respond with grace.
The beautiful part about this is that with each surrender, which I say often - "My soul, my beloved soul, I surrender this to you" - there are what I would perceive as magical outcomes. I was struggling with a significant website challenge last week, and at the last minute, I was able to hire a very amazing tech team to evaluate the challenge. Right in the middle of it, I surrendered to soul. I said, "Soul, you know the answer to this. I'm approaching this from my positionality perspective. You know the answer to this. I surrender to you. You handle this."
And within moments, I had this idea: Go look at this particular piece of software. Go look in this area. And when I looked, I had never in 10 years of running websites actually looked at those particular features of this software. And when I began to turn them off, the website calmed down and began to function normally. What a thing! I would never have thought of looking there.
The Elevated Answer Beyond Positionality
And so the answer always lies on the other side of surrender. The elevated answer, the transcendent answer, is on the other side of surrender, always. Anytime that we are experiencing anything through our positionality, even if it is something that we are absolutely certain of, and we are completely convinced that this is the way things need to be done - I have encountered many, many occasions over the last two and a half years of forgiveness practice where that was transcended.
Every time I felt a compulsion to act, be, do, say, or create in a certain way that I was absolutely convinced was the way it needed to be, I surrendered, went to nothing, nobody, increased my frequency, power and points of awareness to that of my essence, and then asked to be able to handle them, and then forgave all the positionalities that were so convinced just moments before.
The expanded points of awareness are glorious because they tap into everyone else's fields. With time you will experience this. On the other side of forgiveness is spaciousness, grace, graciousness, and compassion. And those are beautiful fields to be in when contemplating or acting or doing anything in life. And then with time, you will find that you expand everything in your life: more friendships, deeper relationships, and even in the fading of others, and then the re-emergence of a new way of being with others. It doesn't have to be through force - force is of the positionality. Grace is of essence.
The Focus and Courage Required for Surrender
What I have found is that it does take a lot of focus, and it takes a lot of courage to surrender, because on the other side of surrender is everything that is beyond one's points of awareness and definitions. And so it's a continuous state of living within the security of your soul and essence and the insecurity of the positionality.
Initially, when I first began thousands of positionalities ago, it was kind of discombobulating at times, because as I was expanding into the points of awareness of my soul and essence, I could see so much more in every one of my life's unfolding stories, and it created a whole field of new types of textures of emotion and perceptual reality: judgments, comparisons, pride, anger, fear. Because as one expands beyond definition, you're into the unknown - the unknown within the known. And that's trippy. It's like you can see all the acting going on in its pure authenticity. Everyone in my life is so beautifully authentic, and yet it's still the positionality. And when that positionality is forgiven on my side, I see beyond the acting. I see beyond the play, beyond the story.
Reactions and the Forgiveness Practice
However, often - thousands of times now - I would get caught up in the story, and I would react either in a really buoyant way, which is most of the time actually, or in a stressed way, and all of a sudden something emerges. It's like, "Where did that come from? Oh, where did that come from?" And then that evening, as I go through the forgiveness practice, essence reveals it to me, or soul reveals it to me, each with their own texture, their own clarity.
And so, like soul said, with clarity comes great responsibility: the ability to respond, the ability to act in the state of grace. That is the responsibility soul taught me this weekend, because there are a ton of tasks ahead of me. And really, this morning, I've been in this incredibly buoyant state after having been through a weekend of fascinating forgivenesses and experiences.
This is a return home, guys - a return home to who you really are. And all the externally referenced reality is simply being experienced through the points of awareness of a positionality, many, many of them, and many are buried deep, deep down in the beyond awareness in the field around you, in your aura, in your cells, in the plasma of your body. Centuries, actually - your whole lineage.
Lineage and Accessing Deep Information
We are the outcome of our lineage. When we were in mama's womb, we were storing and recording everything about her, and she did with her mama, and she did with hers and so on. And so how does one actually access all that information, and how does one make sense of it all? That was my question, has been my question, and still is.
And so essence reminds me often, "Lars, surrender, go to nothing, nobody, and we will see you on the other side," because on the other side, they can show me points of awareness that are not possible to be perceived nor comprehended from within the positionality, because a positionality can only understand. Essence comprehends.
And so it is through story that we gain comprehension. It's why we tell each other stories about our life experiences and perceptions and beliefs and blueprints and programs. We are a storytelling race. And through story, story elicits emotion. Emotion is the deliciousness of comprehension, because even if the emotion is of a lower vibratory nature, it doesn't have to be avoided. It doesn't need to be bypassed by meditating on the light. It doesn't need to be bypassed by getting grounded. It doesn't need to be bypassed through any number of actions that distract you from comprehension.
Comprehension and the Space of Grace
Comprehension is delicious, because comprehension is in the space of grace. Comprehension is in the space of unconditional love. Comprehension is beyond acceptance. Comprehension is beyond all ways of perceiving reality through the eyes of a positionality.
And so the next time you feel stress, or you have a lot of things on the go, or any number of life scenarios, surrender, and I'll see you on the other side. On the other side is peace. On the other side is grace, and it may be just a wisp of an experience, but that wisp can be expanded. That sensation is a benchmark experience. As soon as you've experienced it once, you can experience it again and again and again and entrain your central nervous system to be in the space of grace.
And the more you expand your points of awareness, the more you will be challenged.
The Cosmic Giggle and Continuous Growth
This is the cosmic giggle for me, because I thought all along in my 20 years of deep spiritual study that if only I would increase my frequency, I would be forever out of this vibratory field of stress and comparison and judgment and pride and anger.
Not so, because the moment you start to define life - meaning you open your eyes - you take in 20 million bits of data per second. It's beyond your capacity to be aware of every piece of information coming into your mind and into your awareness and consciousness and body. However, through diligent awareness of your emotions and diligent continuous surrender and forgiveness, you start to tune into the textures of all of that emotion. You guide it, you become the guide by simply letting go and surrendering and letting your soul and essence handle it, and then you're going to be pointed to new actions, new outcomes, new things to say, new ways to be. And that is the growth.
The Sacred Pause and 30-Day Practice
That is the space of grace.
Grace will point you to that which needs to be forgiven. Grace will point you to that which needs to be done or said or not.
So it's useful to practice the sacred pause continuously: say less, observe more. Say less, surrender more. Practice that in every conversation today, tomorrow, the next day and so on. Surrender in every single situation. Try it. Do it for 30 days. Surrender continuously, forgive continuously for 30 days, and see what happens. See what kind of new life you will have in 30 days from now. I guarantee it's going to be a dramatically different texture. Maybe the unfolding nature is somewhat the same - same stories kind of around you - but in you, it will be dramatically different.
Opportunities and Surrendering to God
And it could also lead to many opportunities that would have passed you by, whether they be financial, relationships, opportunities, places to live, places to be, places to go, things to do. I can't even tell you how many thousands of times this has happened to me now in the last two and a half years: continuous surrender and continuous forgiveness. For my first year and a half, it was continuous forgiveness. And then last April, I surrendered to God.
And that's a benchmark experience. That's a benchmark moment, because when surrender is done in its purest form, it means - at least for me it did - that I was relinquishing my life. I was relinquishing my will. I was relinquishing all of me to God: all of it, all positionalities, known and unknown, seen and unseen, acknowledged and unacknowledged in my awareness and beyond my awareness, past, present and future, for all eternity and in the entirety of my being. All of it relinquished, surrendered to God.
Surrendering to Soul vs. Positionality Understanding
And for this whole year so far, I've been surrendering to my soul, all of it, and I've gotten to know my soul in a way that I could never have gained enough understanding from within thousands of positionalities to even come close to what one single surrender can do. Positionalities will travel the world, learn from masters and gurus, memorize great volumes of texts, become very, very smart, very brilliant.
Positionalities can accumulate a tremendous amount of information, and based on how well the vessel can store it and recall it, that too is the trap. That's the trap because it's understanding. It's not comprehension. Comprehension is when you expand your points of awareness so far outside of your possibility of expression or experience that you have no definition for what you are experiencing. And after you've done it a few thousand times, it starts to become the new normal, where in every one of life's experiences through surrender, you gain access to more and your central nervous system starts to grow more and more into that new awareness.
Living in Continuous Grace
So my wish for you is that as you surrender and experience grace, that as your points of awareness expand and you gain new insight into everyone and everything and every story in your life, that that too is surrendered and forgiven, so that you can live in a continuous state of grace.
